Teacher’s First Aid Kit is a collection of versatile, engaging ready-to-use supplementary materials designed to help students improve their speaking skills, range of vocabulary and pronunciation.

It is divided into seven parts, each of them preceded by teacher notes to give you ideas on how to apply the material in the classroom. Part one is called Debate Questions and contains 45 disputable statements to be discussed. They encompass various areas of life and up-to-date topics that students can relate to. Part two-Pronunciation- is designed to help students practise the most commonly mispronounced words in English. Part three- Categories-is a collection of theme-based vocabulary cards and serves as a great way of testing and developing the students’ range of lexis. Let’s Talk cards comprise 20 sets of conversation questions, organised by common themes such as technology, sport, medicine, school, work, gaming, etc. Part five is called Let’s Talk Advanced and introduces 45 advanced vocabulary items together with their definitions, pronunciation and questions to help students practise the said words through speaking. Part six-Idioms- is a collection of commonly used idioms in English to be practised by means of fun games and speaking. Part seven is a set of Board Games with over 150 discussion topics.

This e-book has been designed as a practical resource pack to supplement any course and you can pick and choose from a variety of activities, depending on your students’ needs. The e-book is aimed at B1, B2 and C1 students and you can use it for pair work, group work, class discussions and debates as well as one-on-one lessons. It’s suitable for both online and face-to-face classes. In total the book covers over 350 questions/ discussion points and provides useful content for hours of teaching.
